Trade Marks Act
Trade Marks (Amendment No. 3) Rules 1997
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 66 of the Trade Marks Act, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Rules:
1. These Rules may be cited as the Trade Marks (Amendment No. 3) Rules 1997 and shall come into operation on 15th October 1997.
2. The First Schedule to the Trade Marks Rules (R 1) is amended by deleting item 48 and substituting the following item:
“48. For searching and obtaining copies of documents and computer print-outs:
(a) for each search per file | 5 — |
(b) for any document placed in the public search room — | |
(i) self-service photocopying of each page or part thereof using a stored-value card | 0.15 — |
(ii) photocopying of each page or part thereof by the staff of the Registry | 0.30 — |
(c) for photocopying of each page or part thereof of any other document by the staff of the Registry | 0.30 — |
(d) for each page of computer print-out from an electronic database of the Registry | 0.30 —”. |
