Road Traffic
(Amendment) Rules 2012
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Amendment) Rules 2012 and shall come into operation on 11th May 2012.
Amendment of rule 28
2.  The Road Traffic Rules (R 20) are amended by renumbering rule 28 as paragraph (1) of that rule, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:
“(2)  Paragraph (1) shall not prevent any police officer in uniform from performing or discharging police duties.”.
