Statistics Act
Statistics Act (Amendment of First and Second Schedules) Order 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Statistics Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics Act (Amendment of First and Second Schedules) Order 2010 and shall come into operation on 12th March 2010.
2. The First Schedule to the Statistics Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately below item 14, the following item:
“14A. Environment”; and
(b)
by deleting item 34.
3. The Second Schedule to the Statistics Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “Economic” in item 1 and substituting the word “Economics”;
(b)
by deleting item 4;
(c)
by deleting the word “Operations” in item 5 and substituting the word “Division”; and
(d)
by inserting, immediately below item 8, the following items:
“9. Research and Statistics Unit of the National Environment Agency.
10. Research and Statistics Unit of the Energy Market Authority of Singapore.”.
