Common Gaming Houses Act
Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 2) Notification 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 2) Notification 2006.

—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Pools (Private) Ltd and its officers and authorised agents from the provisions of the Act in respect of —
(a)
the public lottery known as “World Cup Instant Scratch Cards” to be held from 8th June 2006 to 10th July 2006 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)
the “World Cup Electronic Lucky Draw” promotion to be held from 8th June 2006 to 10th July 2006 (both dates inclusive) and the draw on 10th July 2006.
(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Pools (Private) Ltd with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 30th May 2006.
