(Chapter 353)
Women’s Charter (Place of Safety) (No. 2) Order 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 177 of the Women’s Charter, the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports hereby makes the following Order:
Citation
1.  This Order may be cited as the Women’s Charter (Place of Safety) (No. 2) Order 2006.
Place of safety
2.  The Minister hereby establishes the Pertapis Centre for Women and Girls, 42 Surin Avenue, Singapore 535638, to be a place of safety for the purposes of Part XI of the Act, with effect from 15th September 2006.
Amendment of Women’s Charter (Places of Safety) (Consolidation) Order
3.  Item (e) in the Women’s Charter (Places of Safety) (Consolidation) Order (O 1) is deleted, with effect from 29th September 2006.
