Companies Act (Amendment of Second Schedule) (No. 2) Notification 1997
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(6) of the Companies Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:
1. This Notification may be cited as the Companies Act (Amendment of Second Schedule) (No.2) Notification 1997 and shall come into operation on 1st August 1997.
2. The Second Schedule to the Companies Act is amended by deleting item 38 and substituting the following item:
“38. For providing computer information service:
(1) For supplying information concerning a company — | |
(a) by electronic means | $3 for each company |
(b) other than by electronic means | $5 for each company |
(2) For supplying general information on a person’s involvement in companies — | |
(a) by electronic means | $30 per person |
(b) other than by electronic means | $30 per person |
(3) For supplying information in the form of a directory of companies — | |
(a) by electronic means | Free of charge |
(b) other than by electronic means | Free of charge |
(4) For supplying general information by electronic means — | |
(a) indexical information | $1 per block of one minute or part thereof |
(b) statistical information | $10 per block of one minute or part thereof |
(5) Transmission charge for electronic filing | 5 cents per block of 15 seconds or part thereof; or one cent per 1,000 characters or part thereof, whichever is applicable.”. |
