In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Statistics Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics Act (Amendment of First and Second Schedules) Order 2011 and shall come into operation on 19th August 2011.
2. The First Schedule to the Statistics Act is amended by inserting, immediately below item 39, the following item:
“39A. Research and development”.
3. The Second Schedule to the Statistics Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “Strategic Planning Division” in item 8 and substituting the words “Research and Statistics Unit”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately below item 10, the following item:
“11. Research and Statistics Unit of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research.”.
