Fire Safety Act
Fire Safety Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2000
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31(2) of the Fire Safety Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
1. This Notification may be cited as the Fire Safety Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2000 and shall come into operation on 15th October 2000.
2. The First Schedule to the Fire Safety Act is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
“FIRST SCHEDULE
Section 31
Dangerous Trades or Purposes
(1)
Storage of acetylene.
(2)
Storage of calcium carbide.
(3)
Storage of cellulose solutions.
(4)
Storage of fireworks.
(5)
Storage of matches.”.
