Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act
Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption) Regulations 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 21 and 22(1) of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption) Regulations 2011.
2. Every institution specified in the first column of an item in the First Schedule shall be exempted from the provision or provisions specified in the second column of that item with effect from the date specified in the third column of that item, subject to any conditions and requirements referred to in the fourth column of that item.
3. The following Notifications are cancelled:
(a)
Gazette Notification No. 4488/1995 dated 19th December 1995;
(b)
Gazette Notification No. 4490/1995 dated 19th December 1995;
(c)
Gazette Notification No. 4092/1998 dated 7th December 1998;
(d)
Gazette Notification No. 1857/2000 dated 3rd July 2000;
(e)
the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption of School Dental Clinics) Notification (N 1);
(f)
the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption of Clinical Laboratories) Notification (N 3); and
(g)
Gazette Notification No. 1293/2005 published on 24th May 2005.
