Town Councils (Disbursement of Moneys from Sinking Fund) Rules 1996
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 33 (6) (a) (v) and 52 of the Town Councils Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:
1. These Rules may be cited as the Town Councils (Disbursement of Moneys from Sinking Fund) Rules 1996 and shall come into operation on 23rd August 1996.
Disbursement of sinking fund for installation of sensor and starter controller to the time-controlled booster pumping system
2. A Town Council may, under section 33 (6) (a) (v) of the Act, disburse moneys from any sinking fund to meet expenses or liabilities properly attributable to that sinking fund in respect of the installation of a sensor and starter controller to the time-controlled booster pumping system existing for the common use or purposes of residents of any residential or commercial property in the housing estates of the Board within the Town.
