Employment of Foreign Workers Act
Employment of Foreign Workers (Exemption) (No.2) Notification 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Employment of Foreign Workers Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Notification:
1. This Notification may be cited as the Employment of Foreign Workers (Exemption) (No.2) Notification 1998 and shall come into operation on 1st December 1998.
2. Any foreigner who holds —
(a)
a valid dependant’s pass issued by the Controller of Immigration under regulation 11 of the Immigration Regulations (Cap.133, Rg 1); and
(b)
a letter issued by the Controller of Work Permits permitting him to work,
is exempted from the provisions of the Act.
