In exercise of the powers conferred by section 205 of the Singapore Armed Forces Act, the Armed Forces Council hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Singapore Armed Forces (Pensions) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st June 2012.
2. Regulation 20 of the Singapore Armed Forces (Pensions) Regulations (Rg 9) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended by deleting the words “or non-pensionable service”.
3. Regulation 21 of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the word “member”, the words “recruited or appointed to the pensionable service”.
