In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 26) Notification 2012.

—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Serangoon Community Club Youth Executive Committee (YEC), Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee (SCEC) and Active Ageing Committee (AAC) (referred to in this Notification as “the organisers”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of “Serangoon “WAN!” Community Mahjong Competition” to be held on 21st July 2012 from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the multi-purpose hall of Serangoon Community Club.
(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organisers with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
