In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 18) Notification 2012.

—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the Singapore Turf Club from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Pick the SIA Cup Winner” SMS contest promotion to be held from 15th May 2012 to 20th May 2012 (both dates inclusive) and the draw to be held on 20th May 2012 at 9 p.m. at the Auditorium, Grandstand Level 2 of the Singapore Racecourse.
(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the Singapore Turf Club with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
