Misuse of Drugs Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 59 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2006 and shall come into operation on 14th August 2006.
2. Part I of the First Schedule to the Misuse of Drugs Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately below the word “Bufotenine.” in paragraph 1, the word “Buprenorphine.”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately below the word “Noracymethadol.” in paragraph 1, the word “Norbuprenorphine.”.
