(Amendment) Regulations 1998
(Amendment) Regulations 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Passports Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Passports (Authorised Officers) (Amendment) Regulations 1998 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1st April 1998.
2. Regulation 2 of the Passports (Authorised Officers) Regulations (Rg 2) is amended by inserting, immediately after the word "Act" in the second line, the words "and the persons set out in the Schedule,".
3. The Passports (Authorised Officers) Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after regulation 5, the following Schedule:
