Prisons Act
Prisons Act (Amendment of Schedule) Order 2008
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 82 of the Prisons Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Prisons Act (Amendment of Schedule) Order 2008 and shall come into operation on 1st February 2008.
2. Paragraph (7) of the Schedule to the Prisons Act is amended ––
(a)
by inserting, immediately before sub-paragraph (a), the following heading:
“Offences included with effect from 17th April 2000; and ”.
(b)
by inserting, immediately after sub-paragraph (p), the following heading and sub-paragraphs:
“Offences included with effect from 1st February 2008

section 130E (Genocide)
(r)
section 363A (Abduction)
(s)
section 364A (Kidnapping or abducting in order to compel the Government, etc.)

section 375 (Rape)

section 376 (Sexual assault by penetration)

section 376F (Procurement of sexual activity with person with mental disability)
