Powers of punishment of Service Chief
70A.
—(1)  A Service Chief may, upon the conviction of an accused of the rank of lieutenant-colonel, senior lieutenant-colonel or ME6, impose any one or all of the following punishments:
(a)
forfeiture of seniority of rank and forfeiture of all or any part of service for the purposes of promotion;
(b)
a fine not exceeding a sum of $6,000; or
(c)
reprimand.

(2)  In addition to or in lieu of any other punishment, a Service Chief may order that the accused shall suffer any deduction from his ordinary pay authorised by this Act.
