Importation of agents of diseases
41.
—(1)  No person shall, without the prior written permission of the Director, import or bring or cause to be imported or brought into Singapore any disease-causing organism or any agent of disease capable of transmitting a disease.

(2)  Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
