Common Gaming Houses Act
Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 18) Notification 2009
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 18) Notification 2009.

—(1) The Minister hereby exempts The Japanese Association, Singapore from the provisions of the Act in respect of the promotion of the Charity Draw 2009 to raise funds for the Community Chest from 1st July 2009 to 24th September 2009 (both dates inclusive) and the draw on 25th September 2009.
(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by The Japanese Association, Singapore with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 22nd June 2009.
