Town Councils Act
Town Councils (Minimum Amount of Charges for Payment Into Sinking Funds) (Amendment) Rules 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 33 (5) and 57 of the Town Councils Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Rules:
1. These Rules may be cited as the Town Councils (Minimum Amount of Charges for Payment into Sinking Funds) (Amendment) Rules 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2004.
2. The Schedule to the Town Councils (Minimum Amount of Charges for Payment into Sinking Funds) Rules (R 2) is deleted and the following Schedule substituted therefor:
“THE SCHEDULE
First column | Second column | |
1. 1-room to 3-room | 30% of conservancy and service charges and grants-in-aid. | |
2. 4-room to 5-room | 35% of conservancy and service charges and grants-in-aid. | |
3. Multi-generation | 35% of conservancy and service charges. | |
4. Executive | 35% of conservancy and service charges. | |
5. HUDC | 35% of conservancy and service charges. | |
6. Penthouse | 35% of conservancy and service charges. | |
7. Commercial property | 35% of conservancy and service charges.”. |
