Road Traffic Act
Road Traffic (Temporary Private Hire Cars) (Exemption) (No. 3) Order 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Temporary Private Hire Cars) (Exemption) (No. 3) Order 2010.
2. Section 101 of the Act shall not apply to a vehicle which bears any registration number set out in the Schedule and which —
(a)
is used as a private hire car between 12th May 2010 and 16th May 2010 (both dates inclusive) by the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry & Commerce (SGC) for the purpose of the event known as the 12th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business 2010;
(b)
has valid insurance cover for its use as a private hire car when it is so used; and
(c)
displays a label issued by the Registrar in such manner as he may require.
