Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2007
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2008.
2. Regulation 5(1) of the Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) Regulations (Rg 18) is amended by deleting the words “any interest that would have accrued thereto” and substituting the words “the whole or such part, as the Board may determine, of any interest that would have been payable thereon”.
3. Regulation 9 of the Central Provident Fund (Education Scheme) Regulations is amended by deleting the words “any interest that would have accrued thereto” in paragraph (a) and substituting the words “the whole or such part, as the Board may determine, of any interest that would have been payable thereon”.
