Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act 2004
Building Maintenance and Strata Management (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2005
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 131(2) of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act 2004, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Building Maintenance and Strata Management (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2005.
2. The following offences may be compounded by the Commissioner of Buildings in accordance with section 131(1) of the Act:
(a)
an offence under section 6(5), 9(1), 14, 16(4), 17(9) or (10), 18(2), 20(8), 26(9), 27(4), 28(4), 48(3) or 134(4) of the Act;
(b)
an offence under regulation 9(3) or 10(5) or (6) of the Building Maintenance (Strata Management) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 192/2005); and
(c)
an offence under regulation 5(5) or 15 of the Building Maintenance and Strata Management (Lift and Building Maintenance) Regulations 2005 (G.N. No. S 194/2005).
