Road Traffic Act
Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) (Exemption) Order 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Communications hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) (Exemption) Order 1998 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 26th January 1998.
2. PSA Corporation Limited shall be exempted from the payment of the additional transfer fee specified in rule 31 of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Registration and Licensing) Rules (R 5) in respect of the transfer of all motor vehicles registered in the name of the Executive Director, Port of Singapore Authority (PSA) with the index mark "QY" to PSA Corporation Limited on or after 1st October 1997 and before 1st February 1998.
