Common Gaming Houses Act
Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 40) Notification 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 40) Notification 2010.

—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Wild Cash Weekends” promotion to be held from 22nd October 2010 to 5th December 2010 (both dates inclusive) and the hourly lucky draws to be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Basement 2 of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands on the following dates:
(a)
22nd, 23rd and 24th October 2010;
(b)
26th, 27th and 28th November 2010; and
(c)
3rd, 4th and 5th December 2010.
(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions stated in the letter of approval dated 19th October 2010.
