—(1) Any notice required by this Act to be served on any person shall be deemed to be duly served on him if sent by registered post to his last known address in Singapore notwithstanding the fact that it is returned through the post as undelivered.
(2) Section 72 of the Conveyancing and Law of Property Act (Cap. 61) shall not apply to the service on a proprietor of a notice under this Act.
