9.
—(1) A student who has been expelled from the Polytechnic under regulation 6(6) may appeal to the Board in writing within 14 days stating any ground of appeal.
(2) The Board shall appoint an appeal committee comprising any 3 of its members to consider any appeal made under this regulation.
(3) The appeal committee may, after giving the student a reasonable opportunity of being heard, and after considering any report of the Student Disciplinary Committee, confirm, vary or quash the order of expulsion imposed by the Principal.
(4) Pending a decision on any appeal made under this regulation, the student shall comply with the order of expulsion against which the appeal is made.
(5) Any decision made by the appeal committee upon an appeal by a student under this regulation shall be final.
