—(1) Any person who provides or assists in providing any public entertainment —
(a)
without a licence issued under this Act;
(b)
while the licence is suspended;
(c)
in contravention of any condition of a licence; or
(d)
in contravention of this Act,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000.

(2) For the purposes of this section, no person shall be deemed to have provided or assisted in providing public entertainment merely by reason of his having taken part in the public entertainment provided.
