On 23/05/2013, you requested for the version in force on 23/05/2013 incorporating all amendments published on or before 23/05/2013. The closest version currently available is that of 09/12/2003.
Amendment of section 37
42.  Section 37 of the Insurance Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:
(1)  A registered insurer shall, for each accounting period —
(a)
in respect of its life business, have an investigation made by an actuary approved by the Authority into the financial condition of that business;
(b)
in respect of its general business, have an investigation made by an actuary approved by the Authority into its liabilities in respect of insurance policies; and
(c)
lodge with the Authority such abstract of the report of the investigation referred to in paragraph (a) or (b) or both, and a certificate relating thereto, signed by the actuary who made the investigation referred to in paragraph (a) or (b) or both, together with such statements as to the business as may be prescribed under section 36(1).”; and
(b)
by deleting subsection (7).
