4. Section 5 of the Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act 2000 (Act 17 of 2000) is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsection:
“(1A) Where an offence under section 8 or 26 is committed outside Singapore by a citizen of Singapore, he may be dealt with in respect of that offence as if it had been committed within Singapore.”.
