15.
—(1) The Senate shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and of any rules made thereunder, have the control of —
(a)
the instruction, education and research in the Polytechnic;
(b)
the conduct of examinations for students of the Polytechnic; and
(c)
the award of certificates, diplomas and other academic qualifications.

(2) The Council may, from time to time, add to or vary the duties of the Senate set out in subsection (1).
