—(1) Every licensee shall cause his current licence to be permanently exhibited in some conspicuous place where it can readily be seen by all persons having access to the premises to which the licence relates.
(2) Every licensee who contravenes or fails to comply with subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000 and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding $100 for every day during which the offence continues after conviction.
