4. Section 29 (2) of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the word “offence” in paragraph (a), the words “and shall be punishable with a fine not exceeding $5,000 or with imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or with both”; and
(b)
by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (b) and substituting a semicolon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:
“(c)
provide for the taking and recording of finger impressions of any person who applies for or has been issued with a work permit and for the dissemination of such records to the police.”.
