7. Section 6(7) of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (a);
(b)
by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraphs:
“(b)
secondly, in payment of all financial penalties payable under this Act in respect of the residential property or land sold; and
(c)
thirdly, in payment of the balance, in order of priority, to the foreign person who was the owner of the estate or interest in the residential property or land sold and any person having a prior interest to such owner or representative as shown in the relevant records in the Land Titles Registry or the Registry of Deeds of the Authority, as the case may be,”; and
(c)
by deleting the words “paragraph (b)” in the penultimate line and substituting the words “paragraph (c)”.
