23. Section 143(1) of the Customs Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the words “The Minister may make regulations”, the words “for carrying out the purposes and provisions of this Act and, in particular, may make regulations”;
(b)
by deleting paragraphs (k) and (r);
(c)
by deleting the word “; and” at the end of paragraph (zb) and substituting a full-stop; and
(d)
by deleting paragraph (zc).
