Penalty on common informer compounding information
42.  Any person who lays an information for an offence alleged to have been committed under this Act by which he was not personally aggrieved, and afterwards, directly or indirectly, receives, without the permission of the court, any sum of money or other reward for compounding, delaying or withdrawing the information, shall be guilty of an offence.
