—(1) The Council shall consist of the following members:
(a)
a Chairman;
(b)
a Deputy Chairman;
(c)
the Principal;
(d)
three representatives of the Ngee Ann Kongsi nominated by the Committee of Management thereof; and
(e)
such other persons, not being less than 6 or more than 12, as the Minister may from time to time determine.

(2) Every member of the Council, except the Principal, shall be appointed by the Minister and shall, unless the Minister otherwise directs, hold office for a period of 3 years from the date of his appointment and shall be eligible for reappointment.
