—(1) Subject to the condition specified in paragraph 4, rule 9 of the Co-operative Societies Rules 2009 (G.N. No. S 349/2009) shall not apply to any person who advertises, or causes to be advertised, in or using the mass media, between 12th March 2012 and 31st January 2013 (both dates inclusive), in relation to any of the events referred to in sub-paragraph (2), which will be held during that period in celebration of the 2012 International Year of Co‑operatives.
(2) The events referred to in sub-paragraph (1) are as follows:
(a)
Co-op Hot Shots;
(b)
Co-opaliciouz;
(c)
IYC Regional Conference 2012;
(d)
AutoVenture 2012;
(e)
SNCF Honour Awards & IYC Closing Ceremony Dinner.
