Notification 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(a) of the Children and Young Persons Act, MG (NS) Chan Chun Sing, Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Children and Young Persons (Place of Safety) (Cancellation) Notification 2012 and shall come into operation on 15th June 2012.

Cancellation

2. The following Notifications are cancelled:

(a)

the Places of Safety Notification (N 6);

(b)

Gazette Notification No. S 251/2001 relating to Place of Safety;

(c)

the Children and Young Persons (Place of Safety) Notification 2004 (G.N. No. S 174/2004);

(d)

the Children and Young Persons (Place of Safety) Notification 2006 (G.N. No. S 33/2006);

(e)

the Children and Young Persons (Place of Safety) (No. 2) Notification 2006 (G.N. No. S 208/2006);

(f)

the Children and Young Persons (Place of Safety) (No. 3) Notification 2006 (G.N. No. S 383/2006);

(g)

the Children and Young Persons (Place of Safety) Notification 2010 (G.N. No. S 10/2010);
