It is hereby notified for general information that, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Children and Young Persons Act, the Minister for Community Development has appointed the Singapore Boys’ Home, 931 Jurong Road, to be a place of detention for the purposes of the Act, with effect from 7th February 1999.
