3.  There is hereby constituted in accordance with the provisions of this Act a Polytechnic with the name and style of the Ngee Ann Polytechnic, which shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and shall have a common seal, with full power by and in such name to sue and be sued and to perform such other acts as bodies corporate may by law perform, and with other powers conferred by this Act.
