1. These Regulations may be cited as the Films (Fees) Regulations.
2. The fees specified in the Schedule shall be payable to the Board of Film Censors.
THE SCHEDULE
Fees
(1) For censoring each video tape or video disc not intended for closed circuit television or exhibition for which admission fees are charged — | ||
(a) original video tape or video disc | $10 per half hour or part thereof. | |
(b) copy of original video tape or video disc | $4 per half hour or part thereof. | |
(2) For censoring each video tape or video disc for closed circuit television or exhibition for which admission fees are charged — | ||
(a) original video tape or video disc | $40 per half hour or part thereof. | |
(b) copy of original video tape or video disc | $20 per half hour or part thereof. | |
(3) For reviewing each original or duplicate video tape or video disc not intended for closed circuit television or exhibition for which admission fees are charged | $5 per half hour or part thereof. | |
(4) For reviewing each original or duplicate video tape or video disc for closed circuit television or exhibition for which admission fees are charged | $20 per half hour or part thereof. | |
(5) For censoring each — | ||
(a) video tape or video disc for training and industrial use | $5 per half hour or part thereof. | |
(b) original cinematograph film | $10 per 100 metres or part thereof. | |
(c) copy of original cinematograph film | $5 per 100 metres or part thereof. | |
(d) original cinematograph or training film imported, owned or rented by bona fide film societies and business concerns | $3 per 100 metres or part thereof. | |
(6) For each certificate issued authorising the exhibition or distribution of any video tapeor video disc | $0.80 | |
(7) For viewing each video tape or video disc by the Committee of Appeal — | ||
(a) where the appeal is successful | $50 per hour or part thereof. | |
(b) where the appeal is unsuccessful | $125 per hour or part thereof. | |
(8) For the custody of each film, video tape or video disc deposited with the Board — | ||
(a) 8 mm film | $1 per print of film per week or part thereof. | |
(b) 16 mm film, video tape or video disc | $2 per print of film, video tape or video disc per week or part thereof. | |
(c) 35 mm and 70 mm films | $3 per print of film per week or part thereof. | |
(9) For certifying identical copies of any original video tape or video disc on the basis of a representation by means of an undertaking submitted to the Board | $1 per copy, subject to a maximum of $20 per title. | |
(10) For censoring each video tape or video disc for private and domestic use | $3 per half hour or part thereof. | |
(10A) For certifying each video tape or video disc that has been approved by the Board without excisions for private and domestic use | $1. | |
(11) For reviewing each film which has already been viewed by the Board of Film Censors and for which original censorship fees have been paid | $5 per 100 metres or part thereof. | |
(12) | ||
(a) For an appeal to the Committee of Appeal in respect of each cinematograph film | $125. | |
(b) Where the Committee of Appeal declares that the appeal has not been substantially successful, a further fee of | $5 per 100 metres or part thereof. | |
(13) For the affixing of the Censorship Mark to each cinematograph film | $5. |
