—(1) Any person who —
(a)
fails to comply with any of the conditions of the work permit;
(b)
fails to comply with section 13(3);
(c)
wilfully obstructs an employment inspector in the exercise of his powers under section 16; or
(d)
makes any statement or furnishes any information to the Controller or an employment inspector pursuant to this Act which is false in any material particular or is misleading by reason of the omission of any material particular,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
(2) Any person who is guilty of an offence under this Act for which no penalty is expressly provided shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000.
